It turns out President Obama and President Kim Jong-il have more a lot in common.  Both are rulers… er…Presidents of countries with state run economies, and now, both have their own state run “new’s channel. ( Hot Air: ABC to broadcast from the White House, The Other McCain: ABC goes MSNBC )

     Apparently, That One is not satisfied with the current level of adoration and gleeful grovelling currently shown him by the majority of the media.  Hardball interviews on Ellen and reporters bowing to him just isn’t cutting it.

     On June 24, in an unprecedented move (at least in countries without totalitarian regimes)  ABC will become the Obama Broadcast Network.  This expansion of the government’s influence will be used to promote another expansion of the government’s influence, Obama’s massive health care plan.  There will be no opposing views or even legitimate questions.  This will instead be an all day festival of Obama greatness. 

     ABC abandons any pretense of reporting news or checking government power and will instead spend the day trying to film and masturbate simultaneously.

   What’s the harm in Obama wanting to get his message out without any distractions?  Well, let’s look at a few others who are also able to get their message out distraction free.  Let’s see, there’s Hugo Chavez, Kim Jong-il…Did Hitler have his own network?  Obama already has a head start on burning books too since Huckleberry Finn and other such trash has already been removed from many schools due to offensive language.  Read 1984 while you still can.
