North Korea has apparantly conducted a second test of their nuclear missile capabilities (North Korea says it conducted 2nd nuclear test; Obama: “Matter of grave concern” , Kim tests another nuke).  This is despite the fact that North Korea’s recent test of their long range misille capabailities received condemnation.  The United Nations and President Obama have agained comdemned (verbally) North Korea’s actions.  This time it was a strong condemnation.  The next step would be for President Obama to meet with the United Nations and lobby for them to issue North Korea a “Letter of Reprimand”. This would be sent to a United Nations security council and voted on sometime next year.   This “Letter of Reprimand” is not to be taken lightly.  This would go on North Korea’s permanent record and could effect their ability to hold the Olympics in their country in the future.

I am sure this is somehow George W. Bush’s fault.  I bet the North Koreans are upset that Gitmo is still open.  Maybe they didn’t like the condemnation Iran received for testing a missile last week.  Whatever the motives, North Korea and Iran have thus far payed no heed to the condemnation of the United Nations and President Obama.  If this continues, their permanent records could be in jeopardy!
