Carrie Prejean is back to making news.  You remember Carrie, she’s the former Miss California who came out against gay marriage.  Carrie Prejean was attacked by feminists for her breast implants, posing topless and being a “homophobe”.  Aparently, these issues are somehow connected in the minds of feminists and make Carrie a bad Christian and a bad role model.

     There was talk of uh…stripping Carrie of her crown.  Initially, Donald Trump allowed Carrie Prejean to keep her title.  Later, this decision was reversed.  Carrie sued the pageant, claiming she was being discriminated against for her views on gay marriage.  The pageant claimed she had violated her contract by having the photos taken.  Now, it turns out Carrie is dropping her lawsuit.  Carrie is dropping her suit due to a recently exposed sex tape.  CNN says Carrie Prejean is alone in the sex tape, but it was too racy even for TMZ to post, so one can only imagine what goes on.

     What does this have to do with national politics?  Well, it will be another opportunity for the left to launch into attacks on Carrie Prejean.  As Hot Mes points out, Carrie Prejean coming out against gay marriage doesn’t make her the spokeswoman of conservatives.  Liberals did the most to create Carrie’s fame and they will continue to care the most about what happens in her life.  At this point, I don’t know if this was a special tape made for a boyfriend or an audition for a career in porn.  Until I know more, I am withholding comment.  I would like a chance to examine the evidence though…and I’ll gladly take the hit surge that will come with this story.
