Doug Hoffman - liberals hate him almost as much as Sarah Palin
The Other McCain already has some excellent, thorough Doug Hoffman coverage. I was able to find a fine example of liberal Hoffman hatred at Huffington Post that has not yet been properly ridiculed.
I will take this opportunity to give said article a bit of the scorn it deserves. The article starts out criticizing Doug Hoffman for being a millionaire with no voting record who has never previously held office and isn’t elgible to vote in the district he is running in. Either Chris Kelly (the author) has some condition effecting memory, or, like most liberals, he has little understanding of what “ hypocrisy” means. Wasn’t there some prominent Democrat who did something like this? I thought there was a woman who did something similar. She hadn’t held any public office, unless you count “helping your husband lie to Congress and America” as an office. Her and her husband both were wealthy lawyers. They bought a house in New York solely for the purpose of her future Senate run. Prior to that, they had lived in Arkansas and D.C.. After serving only two terms in the Senate, she ran for President, and was defeated by a man who had served only one term. I wish I could think of her name though…oh, that’s right…its Hillary Rodham Clinton. Where was the Huffington Post on Hillary’s lack of voting record, experience, or citizenship when she ran in New York?
The Post goes on to speak briefly about Hoffman’s perceived lack of real military experience. If I have to point out the irony in that, you shouldn’t be reading this blog.
Then the entry gets into the real meat of its argument. There are some questionable claims made on various sites supporting Doug Hoffman. DeDe Scozzafava has stated, or shown her feelings on several issues and she definitely seems to lean way left. That is not what is being argued. Chris Kelly questions the ethics of some of the tactics being used by some of those supporting Doug Hoffman. He claims that Doug Hoffman either knows, or should know about these tactics and should be doing something to stop them because, “winning isn’t worth it if you cheat.” Holy crap! We’re getting lessons in election etiquette from a liberal??!! So then, Obama and other Democrats either did or should have known about the fraudulent tactics of ACORN, for which they face charges in several states. Democrats should have done something about fraudulent claims by Dan Rather and CBS news about George W. Bush’s military record. I could go on but…you get the point. Where was the outrage? Let me know when you start holding everyone to the same standard.

She and her husband both were wealthy lawyers. The pronoun, in this case, is taking the place of a subject. She.
Thanks, that is a mistake on my part. If I fix it now though, this response would make no sense.
